RE-ISSUE OF TREASURY SHARES

CRH plc announces that yesterday, 7^th December 2022, it transferred to participants in its employee share schemes 19,550 Ordinary Shares at a price of €16.19 per Ordinary Share and at prices of £20.11 and £24.51 per Ordinary Share.

Following the above transaction, CRH plc holds 28,003,287 Ordinary Shares in Treasury.  The number of Ordinary Shares in issue (excluding Treasury Shares) is 746,137,051 .
