RE-ISSUE OF TREASURY SHARES

CRH plc announces that on 2^nd March 2015, it transferred to participants in its employee share schemes 55,819 Ordinary Shares at prices of €18.7463 and €18.8545 per Ordinary Share and at a price of £12.9574 per Ordinary Share.

Following the above transactions, CRH plc holds 3,471,028 Ordinary Shares in Treasury.  The number of Ordinary Shares in issue (excluding Treasury Shares) is 815,094,823.
