RE-ISSUE OF TREASURY SHARES

CRH plc announces that on 14^th May 2014, it transferred to participants in its employee share schemes 53,748 Ordinary Shares at prices of €18.7463 and €18.8545 per Ordinary Share and at prices of £11.55 and £12.22 per Ordinary Share.

Following the above transactions, CRH plc holds 4,330,602 Ordinary Shares in Treasury.  The number of Ordinary Shares in issue (excluding Treasury Shares) is 738,982,634.
