RE-ISSUE OF TREASURY SHARES

CRH plc announces that on 19^th March 2014, it transferred to participants in its employee share scheme 136,132 Ordinary Shares at prices between €15.0674 and €18.7463 per Ordinary Share.

Following the above transactions, CRH plc holds 4,642,700 Ordinary Shares in Treasury.  The number of Ordinary Shares in issue (excluding Treasury Shares) is 734,588,900.
