RE-ISSUE OF TREASURY SHARES

CRH plc announces that today it transferred to participants in its employee share schemes 53,117 Ordinary Shares at prices of €11.18 and €11.9565 per Ordinary Share.

Following the above transactions, CRH plc holds 7,374,706 Ordinary Shares in

Treasury.  The number of Ordinary Shares in issue (excluding Treasury Shares) is 726,446,737.
