RE-ISSUE OF TREASURY SHARES

CRH plc announces that today, 30^th November 2011, it transferred to participants in an employee share scheme 11,090 Ordinary Shares at a price of €11.8573 per Ordinary Share.

Following the above transactions, CRH plc holds 8,931,079 Ordinary Shares in Treasury.  The number of Ordinary Shares in issue (excluding Treasury Shares) is 718,966,827.
