RE-ISSUE OF TREASURY SHARES

CRH plc announces that it transferred to participants in its employee share schemes 22,882 Ordinary Shares at prices of €11.9565 and €16.2215 per Ordinary Share and at prices of £11.1630 and £16.7806 per Ordinary Share.

Following the above transactions, CRH plc holds 9,795,278 Ordinary Shares in Treasury.  The number of Ordinary Shares in issue (excluding Treasury Shares) is 707,999,233.
