RE-ISSUE OF TREASURY SHARES

CRH plc announces that today, 30^th June 2011, it transferred to a participant in an employee share scheme 131 Ordinary Shares at a price of £14.4903 per Ordinary Share.

Following the above transaction, CRH plc holds 9,024,584 Ordinary Shares in Treasury.  The number of Ordinary Shares in issue (excluding Treasury Shares) is 716,434,468
