RE-ISSUE OF TREASURY SHARES

CRH plc announces that yesterday, 28^th August 2019, it transferred to participants in its employee share schemes 30,699 Ordinary Shares at prices between €16.19 and €20.825 per Ordinary Share and at prices between £14.94 and £24.51 per Ordinary Share.

Following the above transactions, CRH plc holds 46,335,333 Ordinary Shares in Treasury.  The number of Ordinary Shares in issue (excluding Treasury Shares) is 797,055,005.
