The Trustees of the CRH plc Employee Benefit Trust purchased 310,000 Ordinary
shares of €0.32 each in CRH plc on 11th April 2007, at an average price of
€33.5451 per Ordinary share, for the purpose of satisfying awards made under the
CRH 2006 Performance Share Plan.
