                                 NOTICE OF EGM

Creightons plc ('Creightons' or 'the Group') has today issued a circular
detailing the proposed disposals of its freehold interest in Units 1 to 6 Water
Lane Industrial Park, Storrington, West Sussex, giving notice of an
Extraordinary General Meeting to be held on 30 June 2005 at which resolutions
seeking shareholder agreement for these disposals will be considered.

As announced by your Board 4 April 2005 and 18 May 2005, Creightons has entered
into two contracts conditional only on Shareholder approval to sell certain
freehold property at Storrington.  The first contract is with CDA Southern
Limited to sell the Unit 6 for a cash consideration of £960,000. The second
contract is with Brecon Developments Limited to sell Units 1-5A for a cash
consideration of £700,000.  Due to the size of these disposals relative to the
Company and in accordance with the Listing Rules, both disposals are conditional
on the approval of Shareholders, which is to be sought at the Extraordinary
General Meeting, notice of which is set out in the circular.
