Acquisition of Feed Mill from AF plc for £1.45M

Cranswick  plc  announces that it has today  acquired  an
animal  feed  mill  and related business  at  Wellingore,
Lincolnshire, from AF plc.  The mill is located south  of
Lincoln,  some  75 miles from Cranswick's  existing  feed
mill  at  Driffield, East Yorkshire, and complements  the
existing mill in terms of accessing new markets  in  East
Anglia  as  well as increasing coverage in  Lincolnshire,
both important areas for pig rearing.

The  Wellingore mill produces both pig and  poultry  feed
and has ample spare capacity.

The  consideration is £1.45 million for the fixed  assets
and stock of the business.
