29 May 2008 - Craneware plc, (AIM: CRW) a leader in revenue cycle management software solutions for the US healthcare market, announces today the appointment of Ann Marie Brown, a healthcare marketing expert with more than 20 years of experience, as vice president, marketing.


'Ann Marie joins Craneware with a great deal of marketing experience and healthcare industry knowledge, which will help us grow our existing client base and increase our market share,' said Keith Neilson, founder and CEO of Craneware plc. 'With the expansion of our revenue management offerings, we particularly look forward to drawing upon her expertise to position our brand in a way that fully reflects the breadth and depth of our solutions.' 


In her role, Brown will oversee Craneware's strategic marketing and sales planning; product management and marketing; and marketing communications, including brand management, corporate communications, and customer marketing. She will report directly to Neilson. 


Most recently, Brown was vice president of market development at CareScience, a provider of care management, clinical analysis, and clinical quality improvement solutions that was acquired by Premier, Inc. During her tenure, Brown successfully created and implemented business development plans, launched marketing campaigns geared toward generating revenue opportunities, and led the company's branding and market positioning related to all products. Prior to joining CareScience, Brown held the title of vice president of marketing at both Per-Se Technologies and NDCHealth.
