First Interim Dividend

City Natural Resources High Yield Trust plc announces a second interim dividend
of 0.55 pence per share payable on 29 February 2008 to shareholders on the
register on 1 February 2008, having an ex dividend date of 30 January 2008.

This represents a 10.0 per cent increase on last year's second interim dividend
of 0.50 pence per share.
