M27 Contract Wins

Costain Group PLC 28 November 2007 COSTAIN GROUP PLC ('Costain' or the 'Group') M27 Contract Wins Costain is pleased to announce that it has been awarded, by the Highways Agency, two further design and build contracts totalling £40m for the M27 motorway. The first contract is for the widening of the M27 between Junctions 3 and 4, adding 4km of additional lane to each carriageway and a central reserve concrete barrier as well as new super span gantries. The second contract involves construction of two kilometres of additional climbing lanes between Junctions 11 and 12 for each carriageway.
