Costain has received notification that Andrew Wyllie, Chief Executive, today
purchased 20,000 ordinary shares of 5p each in the Company ('Shares') at 51.5p
per Share. Mr Wyllie's resultant interest in the Company comprises 120,000
Shares, representing approximately 0.03% of the Company's issued ordinary share
capital.
