                          MONDAS PLC ('the Company')



The Company has been advised that Mr Tim Simon, Executive Chairman of the
Company, has earlier today sold 394,600 Ordinary Shares at a price of 45.375p
per share and his pension fund has acquired 393,600 Ordinary Shares at a price
of 45.5p per share.



Following this transaction Mr Simon's holding (all of which is beneficial
other than a non-beneficial interest in 102,750 Ordinary Shares) is now
4,642,719 Ordinary Shares, representing 23.2 per cent. of the issued share
capital of the Company.
