Regency Mines plc ('Regency'), the mining exploration and mineral investment
company with interests in copper and nickel in Western Australia, Queensland,
and Papua New Guinea, announces the appointment of Pedro Kastellorizos as
Technical Director and alternate for Andrew Bell on 1 June 2006.


Pedro Kastellorizos, BSc, aged 32, is a geologist with ten years of experience
in exploration, management, and tenement administration. After working as an
exploration geologist with companies in Australia that included Northern Gold
N.L. and AFMECO Mining and Exploration Pty Ltd, he was a Project Officer in the
Titles Division of the Northern Territory Resources Department, and then served
successively as Group Exploration Manager at Tennant Creek Gold Limited and
Exploration Director at Batavia Mining Limited.
