                     Reduction in Notifiable Shareholding

Coral  Products PLC ('Coral' or 'the Company') announces that,  in  accordance
with  Section  198 of the Companies Act 1985, it received notification  on  18
July  2000  from  The Co-Operation Retirement Benefit Fund (L)  Limited  ('the
Fund'), that the Fund is presently interested in 2,270,166 ordinary shares  in
the  Company.   This  holding  represents 11.1 per  cent.  of  Coral's  issued
ordinary share capital.
