The Company announces that Sir David Rowe-Ham will be retiring from the Board at
the forthcoming Annual General Meeting to be held on 29 September 2006.

Sir David has served as Chairman since the flotation of the Company in 1995, and
he will be succeeded as Chairman by Mr. Geoffrey Piper, the senior independent
non-executive director.
