                           Directors Share Purchase


The Company announces that the following directors purchased shares in Harrier
on 14 March 2001:

Derek Alway purchased 35,000 ordinary shares (representing 0.12% of the issued
share capital) for 86p per share. His enlarged shareholding is 60,714 ordinary
shares (representing 0.21% of the issued share capital).

David Cheesman purchased 58,000 ordinary shares (representing 0.2% of the
issued share capital) for 86p per share. His enlarged shareholding is
1,089,000 ordinary shares (representing 3.8% of the issued share capital).

Mark Rowlinson purchased 30,000 ordinary shares (representing 0.1% of the
issued share capital) for 86p per share. His enlarged shareholding is 78,228
ordinary shares (representing 0.27% of the issued share capital).
