                  Conroy Diamonds & Gold plc ('the Company')

                           Application for Listing


Application has today been made for admission of 776,000 new ordinary shares
of IEP0.025p each in the Company to trading on the Alternative Investment
Market.


These shares have been issued pursuant to a placing for cash at 19p per share
to raise £147,440 before expenses for additional working capital.


The shares will rank pari passu with the existing ordinary shares of the
Company. Dealings are expected to commence in the new ordinary shares on 24
May 2001.
