Transaction in Own Shares

Creston plc (LSE: CRE), the digitally focused insight and communications group, announces that on 13 September 2013 it purchased 50,000 ordinary shares of 10 pence each in the Group at an average price of 103.7 pence per share, for transfer into treasury. The highest price paid per share was 104.0pence and the lowest price paid was 102.5 pence per share.

 

Following the share buy-back the Group's issued ordinary share capital consists of 61,337,338 ordinary shares of which a total of 354,883 ordinary shares are held in treasury. Therefore the total number of ordinary shares with voting rights in Creston is 60,982,455 ordinary shares.

 

The above figure of 60,982,455 may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, Creston under the FCA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.

 

The purchased shares will be held in treasury and may be utilised to satisfy employee share based award obligations.
