In accordance with Rule 2.10 of The City Code on Takeovers and Mergers, Creston plc announces that as at the close of business on 12 September 2008 its issued share capital consisted of 55,761,238 ordinary shares of 10 pence each, including 1,750,213 held in the Creston plc Employee Benefit Trust and 114,824 held in Treasury. The International Securities Identification Number for Creston plc’s ordinary shares is GB0004440284.
