Appointment of Nigel Lingwood as Non-Executive Director

Andrew Dougal to step down from Board as Non-Executive Director

As part of its Board succession planning, Creston plc (LSE: CRE), the marketing communications group, today announces two changes to its Board.

Effective 1 July 2015, Nigel Lingwood will join the Board as Non-Executive Director. Following the AGM in September 2015, Nigel will become Senior Independent Director and Chairman of the Audit Committee.

Nigel has substantial executive management and listed company experience gained from the financial and commercial management of global operations.

Nigel's current position is as Group Finance Director of Diploma PLC, an international group of businesses supplying specialised technical products and services. Nigel has been in the role since 2001 and overseen the growth of the business, through re-investment of organic cash flow into acquisitions and existing businesses, from a FTSE Small Cap to a FTSE 250 Company.

Prior to this, Nigel held the role of Group Financial Controller at Unigate PLC, formerly a major European food and distribution group with an annual turnover of £3 billion.

Creston also announces that Andrew Dougal, following a handover to Nigel in September 2015 of the Audit Chair, will step down from the Board as Non-Executive Director at the end of November 2015. Andrew joined the Board as Non-Executive Director of Creston plc in 2006, becoming Audit Committee Chairman at the same time.

Richard Huntingford, Non-Executive Chairman of Creston plc, commented: "We are very pleased to welcome Nigel to the Board. Nigel has an impressive public company track record and I know his wealth of financial management, acquisition and international experience will prove invaluable to the Group."

Richard added: "I would also like to add my huge thanks to Andrew, on behalf of the Company and its shareholders, for the major contribution that he has made to the development of the Group during his time on the Board. He has been a continual source of sound advice and guidance and has fulfilled his role as Audit Committee chair with great diligence. We wish Andrew all the best for the future."
