Concurrent Technologies PLC 20 September 2004 Concurrent Technologies Plc Product Announcement Concurrent Technologies Plc ('Concurrent'), a leading manufacturer of high-end embedded computer products for critical applications in the defence, transportation, communications and industrial markets, announces that it has released a software package that allows the LynxOS operating system to operate with its range of Motorola(R) and Intel(R) based VME* and CompactPCI(R)** single board computers. LynxOS is a 'hard real-time operating system' that is designed to facilitate mission-critical tasks within, transportation, defence, industrial and medical applications. LynxOS complements Concurrent's existing portfolio of operating systems, comprising VxWorks(R), QNX(R), Solaris(R), Linux(R), iRMX(R) and many Windows(R) based operating systems.
