Computacenter plc announces that on 2 July 2002, it purchased for cancellation
230,000 ordinary shares of Computacenter plc, representing 0.12% of
Computacenter's issued share capital, at an average price of approximately
281.83p per ordinary share. The highest price paid was 283.75p and the lowest
price was 281.00p per ordinary share. Upon the cancellation of these shares, the
number of Computacenter shares in issue will be 186,201,798.
