On 12 April 2006, in accordance with the rules of the Performance Share Plan
2005 (the Company's LTIP), the Company granted conditional awards, over ordinary
shares of 5p each, at a price of £2.45 (closing mid-market share price on the
day prior to the grant), to the following directors/Persons Discharging
Managerial Responsibility (PDMRs)

The release of the awards to participants is dependent upon the satisfaction of
performance conditions, based on the Group's annual adjusted earnings per share
