Computacenter PLC 30 May 2000 Computacenter plc Appointment of Ron Sandler as Non-Executive Director Computacenter plc, the UK's largest provider of IT systems and services, today announces the appointment of Ron Sandler as a non-executive director with effect from Friday 26 May. Ron Sandler (48) is currently chairman of Cognition Ventures and Kyte Group. He was previously Chief Operating Officer of NatWest Group from October 1999 until March 2000, when he resigned following the takeover of NatWest by The Royal Bank of Scotland. Previously, he was Chief Executive of Lloyd's of London, where he played a pivotal role in the design and execution of Lloyd's Reconstruction and Renewal programme, which was successfully completed in 1996.
