Shareholder Conference

Compass Group PLC is today hosting a shareholder conference for analysts and investors at the offices of Nomura International, 1 Angel Lane, London EC4R 3AB.  The purpose of the conference is to provide a more detailed understanding of Compass Group's operations worldwide and their growth potential.

No new material information will be disclosed during the conference and there will be no statement on current trading. The presentations which will be delivered during the conference will be available on Compass' website at www.compass-group.com from 17:00 UK BST today.
