Compass Group PLC has today made application to the UK Listing Authority and the London Stock Exchange for a block listing of 3,996,949 ordinary shares of 10p each to be admitted to the Official List.

These shares will rank pari passu with the existing ordinary shares of the Company and will be issued in connection with the future exercise of options over 3,500,000, 475,000 and 21,949 shares granted under the terms of the Company's Management Share Option Plan, Share Option Plan and UK Savings Related Share Option Plan respectively.
