Compass Group PLC has today made application to the UK Listing Authority and the London Stock Exchange for a block listing of 2,350,000 ordinary shares of 10p each to be admitted to the Official List.

These shares will rank pari passu with the existing ordinary shares of the Company and will be issued in connection with the future exercise of options over 750,000 shares granted under the terms of the Company's Share Option Plan and the future release of 1,600,000 shares under the Company's Long Term Incentive Plans.
