Saint-Gobain reinforces its Gypsum business in the United States

Saint-Gobain signed an agreement to purchase Structus Building Technologies, Inc. (SBTI) of Bend, Oregon.

Founded in 1996, Structus is a leading manufacturer of high-performance drywall corner solutions with a very strong focus on innovation, improving the way the building industry designs and constructs wall systems. Saint-Gobain has been successfully distributing Structus products for many years in North America and Europe, making this project a natural fit.

The acquisition includes a single manufacturing location in Bend, Oregon, with 60 employees.

It ties in perfectly with the Group's strategy of strengthening its position in high value-added solutions for growing markets.
