amendment has been made to date that Colefax Group plc bought for cancellation.
The date of the transaction is 15 September 2006 not 13 September 2006. The full

                           Purchase of Own Securities

On 15th September 2006 Colefax Group plc bought for cancellation a total of
25,000 shares of 10 pence each (representing 0.15 per cent of the issued
ordinary share capital of the Company) at a price of £1.97 per share.

Following the cancellation of these shares there will be 16,840,000 shares in
issue.
