                                 Trading Update

The board of Colefax Group Plc (the 'Company') is pleased to announce that,
following a strong last quarter's sales in both the UK and the US, it expects to
be able to report results for the year ending 30 April 2006 significantly above
its original estimates. For the year ended 30 April 2006 pre-tax profits are
expected to be not less than £3.8 million.
