The Company receieved notification today that Schroder Investment Management
Limited has an interest in 2,708,833 ordinary shares of 10p each, which are
managed on a discretionary basis for clients under investment management
agreements.

These shares are held in unit trusts operated and managed by an affiliated
company, Schroder Unit Trusts Limited (SUTL) and registered or to be registered
in the name of Chase Nominees Limited.

The interest of Schroder Investment Management Limited represents 16.014 per
cent. of the total number of ordinary shares in issue
