Disclosure of Interest in Shares Pursuant to Rule 3 of The Rules Governing 
Substantial Acquisition of Shares

Guinness Peat Group plc and its subsidiary companies ('the Group') hereby notify
Stylo plc ('Stylo') that following the market purchase of 725,000 Ordinary fully
paid 25 pence shares in Stylo ('Shares') the Group's interest in the Shares 
amounts to 7,528,268 Shares representing 13.11% Shares in issue.

No member of the Group is party to any agreement of arrangement relating to the 
exercise of any rights conferred by holding the Shares subject to this 
notification.
