MARKET UPDATE

The Company has been informed by the UK Pensions Regulator ("tPR") that tPR will not be in a position to conclude its investigation and decide on whether to issue a Warning Notice in relation to the Coats Pension Plan (the "Coats Plan") before 31 December 2013 as previously announced.  tPR has stated it is looking to conclude its investigation into whether or not to issue a Warning Notice in relation to the Coats Plan as soon as practicable. 

As outlined in the Company's Interim Management Statement on 15 November 2013 based on previous communications with tPR, the Board currently anticipates receiving any Warning Notices in relation to the Brunel Holdings Pension Scheme and the Staveley Industries Retirement Benefits Scheme on or prior to 31 December 2013.
