SETTLEMENT OF CLAIM

The Chairman's Statement in the annual accounts to 31 March 2004, makes
reference to a claim relating to a contract in Social Housing. Comino is now in
a position to issue the following statement in respect of that claim.

'The London & Quadrant Housing Trust and Comino plc have resolved their
contractual dispute amicably and out of court.  Comino will, in settlement of
the full claim, repay the original contract value together with some allowance
for costs.  Comino will now pursue the claim with its Professional Indemnity
Insurers.'
