In accordance with section 198 of the Companies Act 1985
(as amended) Standard Life Investments Limited notified the
company on 4 July 2000 that on behalf of its client, Standard
Life Group, it has a beneficial interest in 585,000 ordinary
shares representing 4.28 per cent. of the issued share
capital of the company. These shares are registered in
the name of Stanlife Nominees Limited.
