The  Company was notified on 29 September 2000  by  Eaglet
Investment   Trust   plc  ('Eaglet')  of   the   following
transactions undertaken by Eaglet in ordinary 5p shares of
the Company ('Ordinary Shares'):-

15 June 2000 Eaglet acquired 100,000 Ordinary Shares
14 September 2000 Eaglet sold 100,000 Ordinary Shares
28 September 2000 Eaglet sold 400,000 Ordinary Shares

Following   these   transactions   Eaglet   is   currently
interested in 1,897,078 Ordinary Shares representing 12.99
per cent. of the Company's issued ordinary share capital.

The  Ordinary  Shares are registered in the name  of  HSBC
Global  Custody  Nominees Ltd Account designate  EAGLET  -
866379.
