The Company was notified on 16 June 2004 that on 15 June 2004, via his pension
fund, Mr. R Shashoua, a non-executive director of the Company, purchased 5,000
Ordinary Shares of 5p ('Ordinary Shares') each at an average price of £3.915 per
Ordinary Share. Following this transaction Mr. R Shashoua has a beneficial
interest in 72,371 Ordinary Shares representing 0.49 per cent. of the Company's
issued share capital.
