The Company was notified on 17 July 2003 by M&G Investment Management Limited
('M&G IM') of the fact that M&G Group Limited, M&G IM and M&G Limited no longer
have a notifiable interest in the Company's ordinary 5p shares ('Ordinary
Shares').


Notwithstanding the above, certain companies within the Prudential plc group of
companies continue to have notifiable interests in the Ordinary Shares.
Prudential plc and The Prudential Assurance Company Limited's current
