The Company was notified on 23 November 2001 by Standard Life Investments
('SLI') that on 22 November 2001 SLI acquired 10,000 ordinary 5p shares
('Ordinary Shares') on behalf of Standard Life Group. Following this purchase
Standard Life Group has a shareholding of 736,785 Ordinary Shares which
represents 5.04 per cent. of the Company's issued Ordinary Share capital. The
Ordinary Shares are registered in the name of Stanlife Nominees Limited.
