                            Director's Shareholding


The board of the Company is pleased to announce that on 17 March 2004,
Christopher A Gurry and George J Bates, directors of the Company, were each
granted, for nil consideration, options over 15,000 ordinary 5p shares
('Ordinary Shares') at an exercise price of 335p per Ordinary Share under the
Company's Share Option Plan. These options are exercisable from 17 March 2007 to
17 March 2014.


In addition to these grants Mr Gurry and Mr Bates each hold options over 4,750
Ordinary Shares at an exercise price of 292.5p.
