                            Director's Shareholding

The Company was notified on 19 February 2004 that on 18 February 2004 Mr
Christopher A Gurry, a director of the Company, exercised options over 10,250
ordinary shares of 5p each in the Company ('Ordinary Shares') at an exercise
price of 292.5p per Ordinary Share.

Following this exercise of options Mr Gurry remains interested in 4,750 options
to subscribe for Ordinary Shares each.

In addition, on 18 February 2004 Mr Gurry sold 10,250 Ordinary Shares each at an
average price of 353.8p per Ordinary Share.

Following this transaction, Mr Gurry's beneficial interest in the Company's
issued ordinary share capital remains 405,061, representing 2.74 per cent. of
the Company's total issued Ordinary Share capital.
