Inclusion in FTSE 250 Index from 20 June 2016

CMC Markets plc (LSE: CMCX, "CMC" or the "Group"), a leading global provider of online retail trading, is pleased to announce that CMC will be included as a constituent of the FTSE 250 Index later this month.

The inclusion was announced by FTSE Russell yesterday and will take effect from the start of trading on Monday 20 June 2016. This follows CMC's Initial Public Offering with admission to the premium listing segment of the Official List of the UK Financial Conduct Authority and to trading on the main market for listed securities of the London Stock Exchange on 10 February 2015.

CMC Markets Founder and Chief Executive Officer Peter Cruddas said: "Inclusion in the FTSE 250 Index is another significant milestone for us all at CMC and we look forward to widening our existing strong investor base with new shareholders. Additionally, I am looking forward to updating the market on our progress at our full year results announcement next week, on Wednesday 8 June 2016."
