In accordance with paragraph 16.13 of the Listing Rules I write to inform you
that on 16th October 2002 James Dean, a non-executive director of CLS Holdings
plc ('the Company'), purchased 10,000 ordinary shares of 25 pence each in the
Company at a price of 201 pence per share.

James Dean is now interested in 28,104 ordinary shares of 25 pence each in the
capital of the Company.
