Successfully Recovered Debt

Cardinal Resources plc 28 March 2007 LONDON - Wednesday, 28th March 2007 Cardinal Resources plc (AIM:CDL) ('Cardinal' or 'the Company'), an independent oil and gas exploration and production company operating in Ukraine, today announces that it has successfully recovered a debt amounting to US $773,559 previously written off as unrecoverable. Cardinal and its JAA partner JSC 'Ukrnafta' were owed funds for the gas production from its joint activity for the period between 1998 - first quarter of 2001.
