Cardinal Resources plc 27 February 2007 CARDINAL EGM TO BE RE-CONVENED FOR 27 MARCH 2007 LONDON - 27 February 2007 Cardinal Resources plc (AIM:CDL) ('Cardinal' or 'the Company'), an independent oil and gas production and exploration company operating in Ukraine, today announces that it has become aware that the Extraordinary General Meeting of the Company proposed to take place on 8th March 2007 was convened on insufficient notice under the Company's Articles of Association. Accordingly, in order to avoid any dispute as to the validity of the EGM, it will not take place on 8th March as previously notified and Cardinal will dispatch to shareholders as soon as practicable a new notice convening the EGM at 10.00am on 27th March 2007 at The Grange City Hotel, 8-14 Coopers Row, London EC3N 2BQ. Commenting on this announcement, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Cardinal Resources Robert Bensh stated, 'We regret this delay and apologise for the continuing distraction to all shareholders that this EGM has created.
